SCSP integrates research as a core programme to strengthen evidence-based practice and inform disability inclusion policy and programming.
We conduct community-based assessments, programme monitoring and applied research on issues such as early identification, caregiver wellbeing and inclusive education outcomes.
Research findings are used to:
- Improve programme design and service quality
- Contribute local evidence to the disability sector
- Support donor learning and accountability
Why this matters:
Investments in SCSP generate not only direct services but also practical knowledge that can be adapted and scaled in similar low-resource contexts.
Urgent Need: To Complete a permanent multi-purpose centre for rehabilitation, inclusive education and caregiver training.
Current funding need: USD 25,000 to complete the ground floor and equip key service areas.
This investment will:
- Increase the number of children served
- Improve quality and consistency of services
- Provide a safe and accessible learning and therapy environment
