Facility Transition: A Positive Shift for Inclusion

After a period of reflection and anticipation, we are thrilled to inform you that we have  transitioned to a new facility. The decision was prompted by the landlord’s interest in regaining back the property we had been renting. This presented us with one opportunity; to relocate to our very own space, a facility where we had started a primary school just a year ago.

Embracing Inclusion Through Our New Primary School:

The move to our own facility has its own obvious challenges but also it’s more than just a change in location; it represents a significant step in our commitment to inclusivity. In the past year, we have laid the foundation for a primary school that values diversity and fosters an environment where every child, regardless of their background or abilities, can thrive.

Developing the School in Phases:

As we settle into our new space, we are excited about the potential for growth and positive impact. Its a few days before schools open up for first term 2024, We envision the development of our primary school taking place in phases, guided by the resources at our disposal. This phased approach allows us to tailor our programs and facilities to best serve the interests of each child, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive educational learning experience.

It’s fun and excitement

The children are also excited about the new space and environment because it is not only a new experience for the community to understand/embrace  inclusion but also a spacious environment with natural surroundings and a variety of fruits and greenery, this gives a fresh feeling and also most important free vitamins from nature.

What’s next?

  1. Infrastructure Development: Over the coming months, we will focus on enhancing our school’s infrastructure to create a welcoming and accessible environment for all students. We are focusing on adding more classes and setting up teachers/therapists accommodation.
  2. Inclusive Curriculum: We are dedicated to developing a curriculum that embraces diversity, accommodating various learning needs, and providing a foundation for each child’s success.
  3. Community Engagement: Our commitment to collaboration remains unwavering. We look forward to involving every stakeholder at different levels, partners, well-wishers, and the community at large in the school and programs development  towards a positive mind change while uplifting the education standards.
